In real life I’m actually pretty squeamish but I love movies and  horror movies are a lot of fun. The special effects are wicked and for my money, zombies are the best. Don’t get me wrong, I love a good blood sucking vampire but as you can see, the rotting, stinking, lurking, running and walking dead are what I’m best at.

Zombies: The Stinking Dead
This zombie kids’ book has been a long time in the making and it’s finally here. This is the story of Giler and Saru, a cat and monkey team and their unlikely run-in with some zombies.

One Halloween night while reading spooky stories, Giler and Saru hear a strange noise. Saru is sure it must be zombies, but Giler’s never even heard of them before. He gets a crash course in what zombies are and how to be prepared in case they attack.

Best read in a funny voice this e-book is filled with loads of gross, stinky monsters and two good friends willing to do anything to make it to the dawn.

This is my first foray into the world of children’s literature and perfect for the Halloween season.

Hungry zombie

This book is appropriate for kids ages 6-8, and maybe some brave five-year-olds.

The book contains, mild, cartoonish action such as a zombie getting bopped on the head and LOTS of stinky monsters .

If you’ve been visiting my site for a while you might remember the first artwork for this book being included in a group show I took part in a couple years ago with the Society of Children’s Books Writers and Illustrators.

I held off releasing the book until now because I wanted the artwork to be good as it could be. Now here it is ready for you and your little zombies. Woo hoo!
